We are excited for your interest and participation in supporting our local campaign, please be advised that we will stop delivering drop-off boxes to sites December 9th 2026 the closer the season draws to its end. We will begin collections of donation boxes and toys to prepare for distribution to families December 14th as distribution day will commence December 21st.. If you wish to participate in our local campaign as a toy drop site please submit a request but know it wont be actioned until September 1st as our official start date nationwide begins October 1st yearly. If you wish to support our local campaign by other means then we have volunteer opportunities available and also accept monetary donations either online or by mail to purchase more toys and books for the local community. Toys for Tots is a top rated charity. Over 97% of your donation goes to our mission of providing toys, books, and other gifts to less fortunate children. Less than 3 percent is spent on fundraising and overhead. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, and donations are tax-deductable.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Toys for Tots was founded by Major Bill Hendricks in 1947 and became known nationwide in 1948. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
